Carol A. Owen

CAROL ANN OWEN, age 81 of Millington, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, November 27, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Her funeral service will take place at 1PM on Friday, December 1, 2017 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home, with Pastor R.B. Ouellette officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Hadley. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from Noon until the time of her service on Friday, December 1, 2017. Carol was born on March 27, 1936 to Bill and Nellie (Walters) Moores. Carol was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Bridgeport. She had many hobbies and talents that she enjoyed, but most of all she loved the Lord, her children, and her family. Carol is survived by her daughters: Susan Kennedy, Teresa (William) Byers, and Joni Hislope; 8 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; and sister, June Corey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry; son, John Gean; brother, Tom Moores; sister, Barbara Mroz; and her parents.
