Carol June Forbey

CAROL JUNE FORBEY of Flint, age 75, died Monday August 2, 2010 at Genesys Convalescent Center, Grand Blanc. Funeral services will be held 2:30 PM Thursday August 5, 2010 at the Hudson Funeral Service, Otisville, Chaplain Adam Doyle officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 12 Noon until the service time. Burial will be in Smith Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations are requested for the Genesee County Humane Society. Carol June Forbey was born June 3, 1935 to Phoebe and Byron Pettit in Otisville. After her father's death she was adopted by her mother's second husband, Carrol Taylor. She married William Forbey, December 16, 1950, he preceded her in death on October 16, 1989. She loved her dogs, gardening, playing the organ, crocheting and her computer. She worked at AC Spark Plug for 9 ½ years. She is survived by her brother, Byron Taylor; 2 sisters: Janet (Leroy) Hutchins and Sue Drewa; and many nieces and nephews.
