Carl "Skip" Louis Cox

CARL LOUIS COX "SKIP", age 68 of Otisville, passed away at home on Saturday, August 19, 2017, in the presence of his wife, Christine. Carl was born on November 22, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan to Carl and Luella Cox. He attended Redford High School in Detroit. After school, Skip served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. Upon his return from service, he moved to California to begin his extensive career in Steam Ships and International Trade. Skip and Christine returned to Michigan to be closer to friends and family, where Skip worked as a bus driver for GISD. Skip and Christine loved to travel and saw many amazing things, people and places. Skip is survived by his wife, Christine; daughter, Vickie and Daniel Frey; grandchildren: Abigail and Patrick; niece, Kay (Chuck) Musich; nephew, Allen (Deb) Harshaw; great nieces and nephews: Luka, Sonny, Alaina, and Charlotte Musich; sister: Carol(Jim) Dowsett; and many cousins and close friends. Special thanks to hospice for their care and support during this challenging time. A memorial gathering will be planned at a later date.
