Carl William Broughman

CARL W. BROUGHMAN, age 94 of Otter Lake, died Thursday, April 19, 2007 at Lapeer Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, April 23, 2007 at Hudson Funeral Service, Otisville, Elder Dale Day officiating. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park. Visitation is Saturday 3-8 PM and Sunday 1-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family. Carl was born Allegan, MI on July 26, 1912. He was married to Vera (Finkbeiner) Broughman. He retired from Ohio Plate Glass. He served in the United States Navy and was a member of the American Legion. He also served as a pastor and an elder for many years at the Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints in Otter Lake. Surviving is his wife; Daughter: Lavane (Robert) Sutton; Son: Jerry (Merrilyn) Broughman; Foster daughter-in-law:Janet Pallmig; son-in-law: William Crampton Jr.; 16 Grandchildren; 37 Great-grandchildren; and 39 Great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Carl E. Broughman and wife, Irene; in 1994; foster daughter, Marion Crampton; 1 Grandchild, 1 Great-grandchild, and 1 Great-great-grandchild.
