Betty S. Pafford

BETTY SUE PAFFORD, age 82 of Otisville, died on Monday, July 17, 2017 at her home. Her funeral service will be held at 11AM on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home, with Rev. Ann Norton officiating. Burial will follow in Smith Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 from 5-8PM at the funeral home, with a 7PM Eastern Star Service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Otisville Masonic Temple Association. Betty was born on February 6, 1935 in Quitman, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Carrol and Viola (Selby) Hargett. Betty retired from General Motors after 31 years of service. She was a member of the Nourmahal Chapter #282 O.E.S. of Otisville and was a past president of Genesee Association. Betty also enjoyed deer hunting, camping, and sewing. She is survived by her son, Lonnie (Tammy) Pafford; grandchildren: Weston Pafford and Larry Curtis; great-grandson, Blake Curtis; special friends: Joe and Ann Norton and Dale and Yvonne Rock; and her dog, Heinz. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Pafford; parents; and nine brothers and sisters.
