BETTY L. OPPERMAN, age 85 of Millington, passed away Friday, March 6, 2015. Her funeral service will be at 11AM on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Millington Township Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 2-4PM and 6-8PM on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Tuscola County Humane Society or the donor's charity of choice. Betty was born in Mayville, MI on November 15, 1929 to Evans and Bertha (Brown) Heusted. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star 390 Millington Chapter and enjoyed farming, gardening, and spending time with her friends and family. Surviving is her son, Daniel (Sarah) Opperman; grandsons, Thomas and Matthew; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darold (Bud); parents; and sister, Kathryn Greene.
