Betty Mitchell

BETTY MITCHELL, age 83 of Otisville, died on Monday, September 5, 2022 at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 11AM on Friday, September 9, 2022 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home, with pastor Carol Freeland officiating. Burial will follow in Smith Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 1-6PM at the funeral home. Betty was born in Dryden, MI on September 30, 1938 to Kenneth and Vera Edgett. She enjoyed going to the Forest Twp. Senior Center and spending time with friends. Betty was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and she enjoyed bowling, knitting, crocheting, and watching deer. She is survived by her children: Deborah Mitchell, Daniel (Melba) Mitchell, and David Mitchell; grandchildren: Heather, James, and Joseph; and great grandchildren: Caleb, Chayanne, Charley, and Harrison. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Mitchell; daughter, Karen Boring; son-in-law, Danny Boring; and grandchildren: Timothy Mitchell and Jennifer Boring
