Betty M. Lutze

BETTY M. LUTZE, age 95 of Clio, died Monday, April 2, 2018 at Medi Lodge in Frankenmuth. Her funeral service will be held at 11AM on Friday, April 6, 2018 at Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 11AM-8PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the V.A. Betty was born on August 11, 1922 to Carelton and Muriel Palmer in Hale, MI. She enjoyed listening to country music and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. When she was younger, Betty worked at Ada's Tavern. She is survived by her children: Larry (Patty) Lutze and Tim (Karen) Lutze; grandchildren: Tommy (Mark) Lutze, Todd Lutze, Tracy (Todd) Arnold, Larry (Ingrid) Lutze, Jr., Heather (Andrew) Parkhurst, Amanda (Tim) Prendergast, and Chrissy DeClute; great-grandchildren: Chris, Logan, Aurora, Glen, Hunter, Heather, and Jessica; siblings: Norma, Dick, Patsy, and Carolyn; daughter-in-law, Sandy Lutze; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Lutze; son, William "Willy" Lutze; siblings: Helen, Ethel, Chester, Derwood, Corrine, and Mona; and longtime friend, Ralph Carb.
