Berneice M. Garnsey

Berneice M. Garnsey, age 93 of Clio, died on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Medilodge in Montrose. Her memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 3PM at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 2PM until the time of her service. Cremation has taken place.

Berneice was born in Otisville on June 17, 1930 to Lloyd and Mildred Warner.  She was a teacher for 35 years. After her retirement, she enjoyed watching the Young and the Restless and western films.  Berneice enjoyed doing word puzzles, playing dominoes, and traveling throughout the United States. She was an avid Detroit Pistons fan right to the end.

Berneice is survived by her sons: David (Carol) Garnsey and Gary (Christine) Garnsey; grandchildren: Madison, Jordan, John, Gavin, and Matt; and brother, Richard (Gail) Warner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil D. Garnsey, parents, and eight siblings.
