Bernard R. LaLonde Sr age 77 of West Branch, formerly of Fostoria died Sunday, June 22, 2008 at Bay Regional Medical Center. Funeral Service is 1PM Thursday June 26, 2008 at the Hudson Funeral Service, Otisville. burial will be in Watertown Twp Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 11AM-9PM Wednesday from 10AM-9PM. Bernard was born in Flint on June 23, 1931 to Victor and Bernice LaLonde. Bernard was a Boy Scout Leader belonged to several Bowling Associations. He also volunteered to transport people in Ogemaw Co. Bernard was a member of the UAW, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping, loved baking, and taking care of his family. He Retired from Buick Plant 36 Surviving is his wife: Gwendolyn LaLonde; daughter: Rhonda LaLonde; son: Bernard Jr. (Lela) LaLonde; grandchildren: Loraine, Samnatha, Scotty, Valarie, Chelsea and Eric; many great grandchildren. Step daughter: Marlene (Patric) Haggerty; step son: Robert Ferguson. Many step grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sister: Barbara Keehn; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife: Monica LaLonde; his parents; daughter: Bernice; brothers: Robert, Victor and Charles; sister: Mable; and step daughter: Darlene Manis.
