Barbara Marie Loper

BARBARA MARIE LOPER, age 82 of Millington, died Saturday, January 29, 2022 at her residence. The family will receive visitors at the Munford-Hudson funeral home on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 2-6PM. Burial will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date. Barb was born in Flint MI on February 18, 1939 in Flint, MI to Paul L. and Olga M. (Miller) Herrick. She was employed for 25 years at the Chevrolet Truck and Bus plant in Flint. Barb enjoyed going to high school football games. She didn't miss very many home or away games. She also loved playing BINGO and played three or four times a week. Barb was known for being early. She had to be two hours early for everything she went to. Barb is survived by her children: Kim (Ron) Burns, Kelley (Casey) Wheeler, Keith Loper, and Kevin Headla; grandchildren: Joshua Burns, Gus Burns, Nathan Burns, Zach Burns, Kristen Headla, Cory (Ashley) Loper, Clayton Loper, Tom (Ashley) Herrick, Tim Herick, Anthony Wheeler, and Maria Wheeler; great grandchildren: Joshua Burns, Blake Burns, Cheyenne Burns, Brianna Burns, Cameron Burns, Kaylee Burns, Emma Burns, Brielle Burns, Zoey Burns, and Aden Burns; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Pearl Loper; son, Thomas Herick; and sister, Pauline Guest.
