Arthur A. Nelson

ARTHUR ALLEN NELSON, age 60 of Otisville, died Monday, July 29, 2019 at Hurley Medical Center. His funeral service will be held at 1PM on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the service. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 from 4-8PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family. Art was born in Reed City, MI on July 24, 1959 to Donald B. and Luella Nelson. He worked for JAS Steel for 30 years. Art enjoyed mud drag racing, riding his Harley, hunting, tinkering in the garage, and most of all spending time with his kids and grandkids. He is survived by his sons: Paul (Amaris) Nelson and Erik Nelson; grandchildren: Michael, Jason, Konner, Ashlynn, and Luella; father, Donald B. Nelson; siblings: Donald W. (Gayle) Nelson, Terry (Cheryl) Nelson, and Mona (Rodney) Herriman; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Cregg; mother, Luella; nephew, Jason Nelson; and great nephew, Bentley.
