Arthur P. Campbell

ARTHUR P. CAMPBELL, age 74 of Otisville, died Friday, April 1, 2016 at his residence. His funeral service will be held at 1PM on Friday, April 8, 2016 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Otisville. Burial will follow in Smith Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 4-8PM at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home and on Friday, April 8, 2016 from noon until the time of the service at the church. Arthur was born on May 10, 1941 to Archie and Lavina (Coon) Campbell. He served honorably in the US Army. He then worked for General Motors for 36 years and retired in 1999. Arthur enjoyed baseball, singing, playing his guitar, playing scrabble, doing crossword puzzles, and tinkering with his John Deere tractor. Surviving is his wife, Esther; children: William (Yvette) Campbell and Emily Campbell; grandson, Samuel; siblings: Bula Wilson, Neoma Berry, Gladys Korman, Myrt (Warren) Dexter, Janet (Philp) Bongard, Milan (Lorna) Campbell, and Carl (Denise) Campbell; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Myron Campbell, Vera Noyce, Paul Campbell and Larry Campbell.
