Allen B. Miller

Allen B. Miller, age 90 of Otisville, passed away at his residence on Monday, May 20, 2024. His funeral service will be held at 1PM on Friday, May 24, 2024 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home in Otisville. Burial will follow in Smith Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Friday, May 24, 2024 from 11AM until the time of his service at the funeral home.

Allen was born in Mancelona, MI on November 13, 1933 to Clarence and Charlotte (Lakies) Miller. He lived in Otisville most of his life and married Lila Hopkins on December 19, 1953.  Allen worked for General Motors at the AC Spark Plug plant as a press operator. He enjoyed woodworking, farm tractors, and boating. He was known for puttering around in his pole barn and garage, and this past year taking apart more things than he fixed.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Lila Miller; children: LeAnn and Don Turner, Sheryl and Frank Isreal, and Steven Miller; grandchildren: Ryan and Julie Turner, Brandon and Stef Turner, Chris Martin, Sarah LaLonde, and Jon and Amy Leach; great grandchildren: Cole Leach, Kate Leach, Breanna LaLonde, Ethan, Drew, and Elise Turner;  great-great grandchild:  Harlow; and step great grandchildren: Layla, Jonathan, and Tabitha.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Vernon and Bill; and sister and brother in-law, Donna and Joe Groves.
