Alfred R. Campbell

ALFRED R. CAMPBELL, age 85 of Millington, died on Monday, August 21, 2017 at his home. His funeral service will be held at 3PM on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at the Mumford- Hudson Funeral Home, with Pastor Walter Yeomans officiating. Cremation will follow the service. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, August 24, 2017 from Noon until the time of his service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family. Alfred was born on June 3, 1932 to Lawrence and Edna Campbell. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and riding around on his golf cart. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Edna; children: Grace (Jerry) Dykes, Anna (Larry) Owen, David (Lori) Campbell, and Walter (Amy Jo) Campbell; 21 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren; daughter in-laws: Pat Campbell and Debbi Campbell; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sons, Larry and John; siblings: Clifford, Basil, Robert, Shirley, Joyce, and Iantha; and his parents.
