ALBERT V. (LEFTY) GINDER of Otter Lake, age 84 died Thursday July 27, 2006 at his residence. According to his wishes there will be no public viewing, cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will be announced later with burial in Otter Lake Cemetery. Albert was born May 29, 1922 in Traverse City MI to his parents John and Cleo Ginder. He spent his younger years in Killmaster MI and spent the greater part of his life in Flint MI. Graduated from Northern High School in 1939. He served in the United States Army Air Force during World War II as a Fighter Pilot from Dec.1941 to Sept.1945. He married Freda (Rood) Ginder in Montgomery, AL on Oct 5, 1942. They shared 63 Years together. He was a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local #370 retiring in 1983 and moved to Otter Lake in 1984. He really enjoyed hunting and fishing with friends and family. For many years he's been a member of the American Legion and the 40et8. Albert is survived by his wife Freda and daughters Shondell Green, Judy Myers, Polly (Mark) Moreno, Carol Ginder and special daughter Kay Kremsreiter: 7 grandchildren 3 great grandchildren.
