Alan J. Smeaton

Alan "AJ"  Smeaton, age 63 of Millington, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Henry Ford Hospital. His funeral service will be held at 3PM on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from Noon until the time of his service at the funeral home, with a dinner to follow at West Forest Church 7292 Farrand Rd Millington MI 48746. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Eastern Michigan Sportsman Association, PO Box 325, Davisburg, MI 48350 or to the family.

Al was born in Flint on August 22, 1960 to William and Janice Smeaton. He was the president of the Eastern Michigan Sportsmen Association and a member of West Forest Church. He was a true outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, and cutting wood.

He is survived by his wife, Pam Smeaton; daughters: Amy (Mike) Brown and Jenny (Jay) Morse; grandchildren: Kaden and Delaina; and siblings: Lois Boyd, Bill Smeaton, Mona Vanhaitsma, and Connie Smeaton.  He was preceded in death by his parents William I Smeaton Sr and Janice Smeaton (Vanbrocklin) siblings, James and Wayne.
